A unique wildlife experience. We are situated only minutes
away from the Orpen Gate entrance into the heart of the
world-renowned Kruger National Park, so we're able to
offer you the opportunity to experience Africa's most
spectacular wildlife in a true wilderness environment:
prepare to be thrilled by large-as-life sightings of
lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, giraffe and even
the elusive leopard and cheetah....
Not to mention a host of other interesting plains animals,
an abundance of birds large and small all within the
pristine grass lands and majestic savanna forests. Within
the view of the blue Drakensburg mountains a paradise
for nature lovers and bird watchers.
Timbavati is nestled among glades of mature, exquisite
indigenous trees, and these are home to a variety of
birds and other life. You can't fail to be enchanted
by the call of the Woodland Kingfisher, the chorus of
Francolin as the sun sets over the tree-line, and the
calls of owls and nightjars as the night deepens and
the African starscape explodes across the sky, and the
distant call of hunting lions.

Accommodation.
We offer a selection of 2 or 3 bedroom
chalets and 2 bed rondawels uniquely painted with
Ndebele art work, all with, en-suite bathroom facilities.
Flexibility.
We cater for couples, families, tour
groups, team building events and conferences for
up to 50 people. No matter how intimate or how group-oriented
your visit, we'll strive to ensure the perfect mood
