Cultural Village Tour

Take a guided walk for approx. 2½ hours visiting and meeting the local people in the area. With a visit to the local clinic, a local trading  store, school, homes of the local people, and a visit to the local herbal/spiritual doctor (nyanga/sangoma).

Be part of the Sihlekisi School Project, whereby part of your donation for the village walk is contributed back to the people of our local community by assisting the primary school with monies for improvements to the school.

2009 Winners of the Nkayeni regional sportsday - Soccers division

Over the years, Timbavati Safari Lodge has helped encourage and sponsor the development of sports and recreation for our staff, their children and the local village. Last year saw us winning the Nkayeni regional sports day, were we competed againgst various other community participants.

As guests to the lodge, one ofen has the oportunity to venture into the village and witness our young stars either practicing or competing in a game on their home ground.
